are we ought to care or not?

My professor in Oral Communication class:
"You're gonna prepare a one-minute speech for Wednesday, and you should start thinking about your topic. But please don't talk about global warming, because no one really cares about that."

Okey, I agree that most of us don't work actively to prevent environmental catastophries, but can we really say out loud that we DON'T care?

The first day of my "no-starbucks-week" has officially started.  I'm doing well so far. I realised though that I'm constantly eating chocolate instead. Addictive personality, oh yeah.

En rejäl utmaning

This upcoming week = no starbucks.
I can't imagine how much money I spend there. Too much, for sure.
Somedays it's definitely a part of my outfit. I mean, holding a latte never goes out of style, right? However, I must restrain myself not to go there. After all, they only serve overpriced skimmed milk. But damn I love it. Starbucks, in my heart and hand forever and ever.

Cliché?

True inspiration

"They say, when one door closes another one opens. The question is, which one will open first."

The quote above is the ending of the short story that I wrote in English class, which I turned in this Thursday. Before I actually got myself together and wrote it, I had such a hard time deciding what to write about. There are so many topics in life worth putting down on a piece of paper, and as my English teacher put it:
"Everyone's life is a novel."
I was truly inspired by those words. It got me thinking, if a whole life is a novel, then I must have lived so long that I basically already have 5 chapters, or, 5 short stories in my head. Therefore, it can't be that hard to grab that pen and start workin' that writing hand. And so I did, and Voila! I had my story.

                                                                                                    *

My room is now Gustavized. Which means I have decorated it with a desk named Gustav. The cashier at Ikea laughed and asked:
"Wait a minute, your name is Gustav and you're buying the Gustav Desk?"
Thanks William for helping me carrying it on the bus!
Now I can start working on my school stuff from home. To be honest, I get inspired when sitting at my Gustav desk facing the window with a view of Broadway and Amsterdam Ave, with its tall buildings and city lights. Looking forward to more writing assignments. The Gustav Desk force will be with me for sure!

bring me a higher love

Bring me a Hiiiigher Love!!!

By the way, idag så stannade en taxibil o lät mig passera, trots rödsignal för mig o grönsignal for honom. Kallar vi det gentlemannamässigt lr inte? Tummen upp! Kungligt korsade jag gatan, iförd min rock. Fabulous!

I am legend

Tonight I saw the scariest movie I've seen in my entire life.
I am legend.
Seriously, I felt sick.

(Kinoki, I saw this on the gay channel Logo. I definitely want to try it.)

By the way, it's like the north pole outside. Double-freezing. Thank g-d I brought my Canada Goose jacket here. I thought about it today when I was waiting for the subway. I must look so Swedish, it's ridiculous.
But I don't care when it's this kind of temperature outside, Goose it is!
